Interdepartmental Staff for Security and Public Order in GBAO Reports
A special operation was carried out against the leaders of organized criminal groups of Khorug Mazorov Khursand Mirzohayotovich and Rajabov Zoir Karmamkhudoevich, reports the Interdepartmental Staff for Security and Public Order in GBAO.
The Prosecutor’s Office for GBAO initiated criminal cases against Mazorov, born in 1972, a native and resident of Khorug, secondary education, under the following articles:
- 179 (Terrorism);
- 104 part 1 (Murder);
- 237 part 2, (Hooliganism);
- 345 part 2 (Obstruction of justice);
- 200 (Illegal circulation of narcotic drugs or psychotropic substances for the purpose of sale);
- 280 (Smuggling of weapons and ammunition);
- 181 (Taking hostages);
- 182 (Seizure of buildings, structures of state power);
- 328 part 2 (Use of violence against a representative of authority);
- 309 (sabotage at vital facilities);
- 189 part 3 (Inciting national and racial hatred);
as well as against Rajabov, born in 1972, a native and resident of Khorug, secondary education, under the articles:
- 179 (Terrorism);
- 200 (Illegal circulation of narcotic drugs or psychotropic substances for the purpose of sale);
- 280 (Smuggling of weapons);
- 182 (Seizure of buildings, structures of state power);
- 328 part 2 (Use of violence against a representative of authority);
- 309 (sabotage at vital facilities);
- 189 part 3 (Incitement of national and racial hatred);
- 345 part 2 (Obstruction of justice).
Mazorov and Rajabov were officially summoned to law enforcement agencies several times to conduct investigative actions.
However, each time they deliberately refused to comply with the legal requirements of the administrative authorities.
During the detention, Mazorov and Rajabov did not obey the demands of the employees of special forces for voluntary surrender to law enforcement agencies and offered armed resistance, using F-1 grenades and Kalashnikov assault rifles.
As a result of return fire, the criminals were neutralized.
Found from the crime scene:
- 1 Kalashnikov light machine gun;
- 1 Kalashnikov machine gun;
- 11 Kalashnikov assault rifles with 5715 rounds and 66 magazines;
- 9 units of hand-held anti-tank grenade launchers with 546 rounds;
- 2 sniper rifles with scopes;
- 3 Makarov pistols with 198 rounds and 10 magazines;
- 36 units of various grenades with 15 fuses;
- 20 anti-tank grenade launchers;
- 2 sniper night vision devices
- 3 shells from a grenade launcher;
- 1 bayonet;
- 19 explosive levers;
- 5 radio sets;
- 18 detonators for a hand-held anti-tank grenade launcher;
- 3 touch phones, 4 phones with Afghan SIM cards;
- 1 satellite phone with four SIM cards;
- 1 Kodak radio set;
- 1 Kodak camera;
- $700, 60 somoni;
- 7 combat belts for storing cartridges;
- 7 sets of camouflage uniforms
- 1 night vision device;
- two units of cars, in the trunks of which various ammunition was stored, which were legally seized and documented.
Additionally, 10 accomplices of the criminals were detained during the operation. During a search from the apartment building of two of them: Imomnazar Shoishirinov, two Kalashnikov assault rifles with three magazines, 120 rounds of 7.62 mm caliber were found, and from Muslim Sherzamonov’s own apartment building — one Kalashnikov assault rifle with one magazine, 18 rounds of 5.45 caliber mm and two F-1 grenades, which were legally seized and documented.
According to these criminal cases, the investigation is conducted by the Prosecutor’s Office for GBAO.
