The Kyrgyz armed forces ignored the conditions and requirements of the declared ceasefire and today at 11:50 opened fire from Grad military equipment from the Jonoloy district of the Kyrgyz Osh region aiming at Tojvaron village residents’ houses in the Sayliobod rural community of the Lakhsh district of Tajikistan, reports the Press Center of the Border Troops of the State Committee for National Security of Tajikistan.

Вооруженные силы Кыргызской Республики проигнорировали условия и требования объявленного прекращения огня и 17 сентября 2022 года в 11:50 часов открыли огонь из боевой техники «Град» с Чон-Алайского района Ошской области Кыргызской Республики по домам жителей села Тоджварон сельского джамоата Сайлиобод Лахшского района Республики Таджикистан. Об этом НИАТ «Ховар» сообщили в пресс-центре Пограничных войск Государственного комитета национальной безопасности Республики Таджикистан.

As of 10:00 today, the situation on the Tajik-Kyrgyz state border is assessed as relatively stable. Nevertheless, in some cases, the demands of the ceasefire are being violated by the Kyrgyz military, reports the Press Center of the Border Troops of the State Committee for National Security of Tajikistan.

Today at 07:30, the Commanders of the Tajik and Kyrgyz Border Troops held a meeting to implement the terms of the earlier declared ceasefire. The meeting focused on issues of stabilizing the situation, as well as returning additional forces and means to their original positions, reports the Press Center of the Border Troops of the State Committee for National Security of Tajikistan..
